Impact & Funding
An evolving body of original audio works—guided voice, sound design, and immersive environments—delivered through a mobile experience for broad public access.
Inner is a digital audio arts experience that uses original sound design and guided voice to support emotional regulation, mental clarity, and self-guided reflection. Each experience is composed as an audio work with an intentional arc—inviting listeners into grounding, restorative states through sound, narrative, and symbolic environments.
Inner is in active development with a functional mobile build and a growing library of original audio works. Early responses from testers and viewers have been strong, and the project is now positioned to scale production and public access.
Key milestones to date include:
Inner is an evolving digital audio arts project that blends sound design, voice, and interactive environments into guided experiences that support emotional well-being, self-awareness, and mental clarity.
The project presents a series of immersive Chambers and sound-based journeys—each designed as a standalone audio work guiding participants through grounding, reflection, and restorative states.
Rooted in ritual, repetition, and sonic immersion, Inner reimagines how audio art can be experienced in a modern, accessible format—transforming a mobile device into a space for intentional pause, reflection, and restoration.
While delivered digitally, Inner is fundamentally an artistic practice: each experience is composed with intention—combining voice performance, spatial sound, and symbolic environments to create a cohesive emotional and psychological journey.
The project is designed to grow as a living body of work, expanding with new compositions, collaborations, and culturally influenced soundscapes over time.
Inner provides accessible tools for emotional regulation, stress reduction, and self-reflection through art.
In a time where many individuals lack access to traditional wellness resources, Inner offers a low-barrier, on-demand experience that can be accessed privately and without cost barriers in its foundational form. A portion of Inner will remain free and publicly accessible to ensure foundational experiences are available regardless of financial status.
Mobile-first design with free public offerings and low-barrier access.
Emotional well-being supported through art-based methods.
Open to participants regardless of background or prior experience.
Future phases include free public releases of select audio works, community activations and workshops, and collaborations with artists and voice practitioners—including those based in Puerto Rico.
Each Inner experience is treated as a composed piece of audio art, created through a layered process involving:
Rather than passive listening, participants are guided through structured internal experiences—making the listener an active participant in the work itself.
This positions Inner within a lineage of sound art, experimental audio, and ritual-based artistic practice—translated into a contemporary digital format.
A core direction of Inner includes collaboration with artists and sound designers from Puerto Rico—integrating field recordings, cultural textures, and local creative voices into future works.
These collaborations aim to support local creative economies while ensuring the work reflects a diverse and grounded cultural presence. This includes field recording sessions, bilingual voice commissions, and paid collaboration with Puerto Rico–based artists.
Funding will support the creation of new audio works within the Inner series, including:
Additional support enables fair pay for artists, higher production quality and accessibility, and broader distribution of the work to public audiences.
Inner’s distribution strategy focuses on wide access through mobile delivery—supporting participation across locations and connectivity conditions.
To support access equity, Inner also supports offline use through caching—so listeners can return to select experiences even with inconsistent service or limited connectivity. Key components include:
Inner will track progress and impact using clear, non-invasive measures appropriate for an arts-based digital project.
No medical claims are made; Inner is a non-clinical, arts-based project intended to support well-being through creative practice.
